Description Chris Cormack 2010-05-21 01:09:55 UTC

---- Reported by oleonard@myacpl.org 2009-07-03 15:36:50 ----

At the moment we have one preference which controls the display of two different things. Turning on OPACAmazonReviews enables both the product descriptions from Amazon.com under the 'title notes' tab *and* the 'Amazon Reviews' tab with user reviews from Amazon.com. There should be a separate preference for the display of Amazon content under the 'title notes' tab.

Is this still an issue?

It is my understanding that Amazon has revised its terms of service for its API
so as to make it no longer suitable for library use. I think the Koha project
should focus its efforts on supporting other sources of third-party content
like OpenLibrary.
