holds

When on the list of holds on a bib record I love the new arrow images! My question is why do I need an arrow to move the end of the list and an arrow to toggle lowest priority? they do the same thing - as far as I can tell.

Toggle lowest priority keeps that reserve request at the bottom of the list *at all times*. Even if more reserve requests are made, any reserve requests with Lowest Priority set stay at the bottom.

For example, we have home-bound patrons that are allowed to keep books out for months at a time. It would not be fair to other patrons if a home-bound patron were able to check out a brand new book and keep it for months. For this reason, the home-bound patron's reserve request would stay at the bottom of the queue until everyone else who wanted to read that book has already done so.

okay - we might want to use a different image if we can think of one to note that it will stick as the last?

That sounds like a good idea. I think it would be good to add an option to set reserves for a given borrower category to be automatically set to lowest priority.

I was thinking of a push-pin icon. Does "Pin lowest priority" convey the correct meaning?

a push pin does indicate 'stay in place' to me - is there anyway to make the pin have an arrow on it pointing down? or is that too much to fit in such a small place? a pin with a tooltip should be fine

Lowest priority icon with push pin added.

How does this look?

Kyle I think that's the right idea but I don't think it's going to scale down well--the pin is going to turn into a dot.

I agree. I could scale all the icons up a bit. All the originals are SVGs. It would take up a bit more real estate, but not too much.
