I got a lot of requests to remove the index names from the display, because it's confusing. Is this something we can agree on? - Only display number of results? - Only displaying the search terms? - Translate the index names into the names of the search options? - Only display number of results? - Only displaying the search terms? - Translate the index names into the names of the search options? I think it's a good idea to just display the search term only and the number of results. I think it will be nice to do like Google do. For koha: Koha about 62,600,000 results. |
Created attachment 6273 [details] Advanced Search Hi, I'm french sorry for my english if i do some mistake. For frech like me, there is something i d'idnt' like in the user interface is the keyword when i launch a search who appear. For example: If i search "Victor hugo" in the search bar i get: ākw,wrdl: victor hugo ā returned 75 results. What is this keyword "kw,wrdl" Is it necessary to see this keyword for most of the user ? I think not. I recommand to remove this keyword. So if i lanch a very advanced search. I can get all this keyword: ā mc-itemtype,phr:LIVR ln,rtrn:ita aud:b Material-type:e Literature-Code:b Biography-code:a ctype:b Type-Of-Serial:zā In one line. For the user interface is not really good. It's why i consider this a bug. In attachement some screenshot...
