Description Gaetan Boisson 2012-07-04 08:52:12 UTC
On a result list (both in OPAc and the staff client), there is a save button after the dropdown menu where you can choose to save you selection in the cart or in a list. The selection is saved as soon as something is chosen in the list however.

Only one behaviour should be implemented : either we choose from the list then click save, or we choose from the list and it is automatically saved and then there is no button.

Here's my justification for the way it works: I'm looking at search results, I find something I want to add to the cart. I check the box, choose "Cart" from the dropdown menu, and my selection is saved. I scroll down and find another item I want to add to the cart. When I go back to the dropdown, "Cart" is already selected. How do I add to the cart? Without the "save" button I would have to select something else (the blank option?) and then select the cart option again.

I hadn't seen it this way, but i'd say it's a pretty good point for removing the autosave function then.

It does make much more sense to me now though.

Can we mark this as resolved? I don't know how this function looked in 2012 but in the latest version it is quite clear, with an 'Add to:' label and the lists marked clearly from the Cart.
