Here's my justification for the way it works: I'm looking at search results, I find something I want to add to the cart. I check the box, choose "Cart" from the dropdown menu, and my selection is saved. I scroll down and find another item I want to add to the cart. When I go back to the dropdown, "Cart" is already selected. How do I add to the cart? Without the "save" button I would have to select something else (the blank option?) and then select the cart option again. I hadn't seen it this way, but i'd say it's a pretty good point for removing the autosave function then. It does make much more sense to me now though. Can we mark this as resolved? I don't know how this function looked in 2012 but in the latest version it is quite clear, with an 'Add to:' label and the lists marked clearly from the Cart.
