Description Nicole C. Engard 2011-06-24 19:57:31 UTC
It would be nice if we could use the batch item modification to move a batch of items to another bib record.
Comment 1 Claudio Costales 2016-09-08 20:42:48 UTC
This would be very useful!
Comment 2 Katrin Fischer 2019-03-16 09:57:59 UTC
Still valid. At the moment there is no batch process for moving items.

What would be the use cases?

Alternatively, in 'Attach item' perhaps we could have the ability to add multiple barcodes? Sometimes we create new updated records or find duplicates for replacement copies, new editions, etc... and want them on the same record. Right now, we can move 1 at a time by barcode but the option to move multiple would be very helpful.

Hi
It would be useful :
We have serials with hundreds of items, but we realized that some items should be moved to an other record, because the serial has been given a new ISSN from a certain date.

We have bib records with lots of item records that are slow to load and we would like to be able to break them out into separate bibs in batches. We also have had issues with incorrect merges where multiple items need to be moved to another bib and it is tedious doing it one at a time.
