This appears to be the same issue as "Bug 10391 - specify due date remaining even if not selected". We too were having trouble when using this feature to checkout ILLs to patrons. It was "sticking" and carrying over to next patrons without our having selected the box which says "remember for session". We found we had to log out of Koha alltogether to get it to unstick. Even using the clear box didn't seem to unstick it. But today I quickly tested it and now it seems to be working. I've asked my staff to start trying to check out ILLs using that due date to see if it consistently works. We were running 3.10 when we noticed it and did a ticket to Bywater for it. They said it was a bug. I just did a webinar with Nicole Engard and asked her about the bug's status and she showed me how to login and comment on bugs myself. Maybe it was fixed in the the 3.12 upgrade? Bad news. The sticky due date seemed to not be a problem when I tested it a couple of weeks ago, but this week it's stickiness is back and causing me much irritation. It's so weird that I tested it and another of my staff members tested it and it seemed to be working, but now it definitely is not. It's a pain to have to log all the way out and log back in to have the sticky date finally go away. It sticks whenever I use that box to set the due date, even if I don't select the box for Remember for Session. Acts like a bug to me! Using master, it works as described by Katrin on bug 10391 comment 2. It looks not to be a bug but the expected behavior. |
