Yep, this seems fine. Do you have a preference where it goes on the website? (In reply to Liz Rea from comment #1) > Yep, this seems fine. Do you have a preference where it goes on the website? I do not have a preference. Anybody with more style have a preference? (In reply to Brendan Gallagher from comment #2) > (In reply to Liz Rea from comment #1) > > Yep, this seems fine. Just put it *somewhere* and we can "argue" about the details later? :-) Ha, my discretion it is then. I have added this, however I was unsure of the text to use, nor do I (I think...) have a description or further explanation of what the money goes for on the website to link to. It is on the home page, at the bottom right. (Liz you haven't attached anything) oops ignore me, good stuff signing off :) Still no attachments Back to Assigned Erm, I was looking for a sign off from Brendan on the website work, and there will be no attachments, ever, because this work isn't Koha work proper. You'll notice that this is in the "Websites" component, which is where we keep bugs regarding the koha-community.org website. What I do need, is more information from someone involved with the fund about what the money is going to be used for, what the rules are, who the people in charge are, and so on, to put on the website somewhere. I don't think people will be super keen to donate without knowing where the money is going. Cheers, Liz This could use an update. I have been asked about donation options, but I have no idea where to send people for more information. Yeah, I'd need someone to tell me what the details are before I can add anything. It gripes me too. Liz We are still waiting to see what shakes out with THT. Once we are 100% sure on the path forward we will be able to get you more information. *ping* It's been another few months. Brendan Gallagher, what has "shake[n] out with THT"? Liz Rea, is this already dealt with? Still waiting for information, as the issues with THT are still ongoing. Cheers, Liz Right now I get an error using donate button: "Error Detected: PayPal cannot process this transaction because of a problem with the seller's website. Please contact the seller directly to resolve this problem." I'd be less shy about this subject, like Wikipedia or Canonical. Why not a Donate button in the black menu top bar? BTW, why not also offer some other alternatives? - A donation site better than Paypal: donorbox.org, bountysource.com, liberapay.com, patreon.com. - QR code to donate to a Bitcoin wallet. This button really ought to be removed, as no one has given me information about the foundation and as far as I know it is dysfunctional. That's really a pity. Meanwhile maybe at least a bitcoin wallet? Created by someone reliable of the community. Closing this for the time being since the original purpose was fulfilled (and then reverted). |
