Hi Suzanne, you could use the patron list feature: Search for all patrons of a certain patron category in the patron search, than add them all to a list of your choice and use the list for the batch edit. I think while this has a bit more steps than what you suggest it has the benefit of not needing to replicate all filters available on the patron search. What do you think? I think it might be a nice addition to send results to patron batch mod without the detour using patron lists - that could be a good compromise here and avoid for us to have to duplicate the full patron search for the tool over time. +1 on this. In catalog search results now we get an Edit button that includes options to send to batch edit or to merge. It'd make sense to replace the existing Merge Patrons button with a comparable feature. We do now have a button for batch patron modification on top of the patron search results :) |
