This suggestion was buried in another bug report, so I'm pulling it out as its own enhancement request.

Besides checking for overdues, you'd also have to check for outstanding fines. I would say to make it controlled by a system preference, in case libraries are using the debarred flag to restrict patrons for reasons other than having overdues and/or fines.

we (BibLibre) will add a "fines in days" feature soon, that will be incompatible with this one. The idea being to debar a patron for 10 days if he returns books 10 days late.
