Description Chris Cormack 2010-05-21 00:35:17 UTC

---- Reported by tina.burger@liblime.com 2008-02-18 08:41:12 ----

it would be useful of bulk actions could be performed on results retrieved through "Select items you want to check".

For instance, let's say i wanted to find out what items in the nonfiction section hadn't been 'seen' in a while, then I wanted to mark some of those titles for 'weeding' but not others. I'd like to check those items, put them in the equivalent of a 'book back' and then do something with that list, like print it or email it to someone.

Is this still an issue with the new cart on the staff client and the ability to add to cart and list from the staff search results?

"find out what items in the nonfiction section hadn't been 'seen' in a while"
  - this sounds like the results of a guided report

"mark some of those titles for 'weeding' but not others"
  - take the results of a report and add them to a cart where some can be removed? I don't know. It would certainly be nice to be able to "pipe" the results of a guided report to the new batch mod/delete tools.

"do something with that list, like print it or email it to someone"
  - Matches the new staff client cart functionality.
