In some libraries fast adds are used for ILL or other material that's not supposed to stay in the catalog after circulation was completed. It would be nice if there as an option to automatically delete fast add items and records (if it was the last item) when the item is checked-in.

+1 for this, but it'd need to be optional. I'd like to see a syspref that would allow the choice to never delete FA records on return, always delete them on return, or give a popup asking whether or not to delete them on return.

+1 I like the concept.

+1 from me, too. This sounds like a great idea. It would make it easier to keep our catalog clean.
