Existing circulation notes are removed from overwritten borrower records when importing via Tools > Import Patrons. Confirmed on 16.11 and 17.05

To test, select patron record and add circulation note. Create a test import file matching on the cardnumber, selecting overwrite. Patron attributes can be either option. When imported the record overlays correctly but removes the circulation note on the imported borrower record.

Could you detail?
You have a "borrowernotes" header and no value?

Hi Jonathan, I'm not sure what further information you require. The borrower has a circulation note on their record and this is viewable on the borrower record Details view under circulation note. The same note is viewable in the "Checkout" view on the borrower record. If you then import the borrower via the borrower load tool it will overwrite attributes correctly but the "circulation note" is removed.

And the CSV file, how is it?
You have a "borrowernotes" header and an empty value?

I still do not recreate this one. Closing.

Barry, please reopen and provide more information if still valid.

What I tried:
Create a circ note for patron 1
Create a CSV with same cardnumber as patron 1
The CSV does not contain "borrowernotes" in the header
=> patron 1 still has the borrowernotes
