Description Ray Delahunty 2018-01-08 12:06:22 UTC
While Koha can be configured to stop fines from being levied, and stop items being due on (or auto-renewing during) closed days, Koha continues to check accounts to see if they need to be restricted during closure periods. With a 2 week closure at Christmas and ODUE2 triggering an account restriction after 7 days, users who are unable to return items on hold (reserved) and due back in the final few days before the closure have their account restricted during the closure period, meaning all other items stop auto-renewal when the library opens again, potentially leading to large fines. Account restricting should be (optionally) deferred until the opening of the library after the closure period- when we are on holiday Koha should also take a complete holiday too.
