Description Cab Vinton 2018-06-27 15:59:16 UTC
The (deleted)borrowers tables includes a column for failed login attempts (login_attempts).

A similar column for date of last successful login would help libraries identify which patrons are & are not taking advantage of the extra features available through their personal accounts.

I just noticed that there is a lastseen column, but it's not clear to me what this is supposed to track.

A report I ran in our system shows 5,900 null values & 250 '0000-00-00 00:00:00' values.

I think this is covered by bug 15504?
Comment 4 Cab Vinton 2020-12-16 11:50:51 UTC
I think you may be right again, Magnus. A lot depends on how Bug 15504 is resolved. Ideally, there will be enough granularity to help librarians distinguish between OPAC logins & SIP2 authentications, for example.

OK to mark this as a duplicate if you feel that is the best route.

Thank you.

Note: you can also log successful logins in action_logs.
