Hi Patrick, I am always interested in the use cases. The calendar mostly affects the holds queue, fines and due dates. Can you explain how you'd use the feature? Hello, In the case of school libraries, we have several types of users as an example: a library can have users such as students, teachers, employees, library staff, etc. However, when we close days in the calendar, it would be interesting to be able to select one or more types of users who are concerned by these closures. As in the example of winter vacations where teachers and staff go back to work faster than students and want to use the resources of the library, if we closed calendar dates until the start of the school session, this causes problems with the circulation of documents. Thanks, Patrick. What you could do now is use a special due date for the students to ensure their items only get due after the school break and not enter closing dates to the calendar, so the teachers would be unaffected. |
