Description Alexandre 2019-05-22 20:51:37 UTC
The carousel is a cool feature. But some libraries set Koha to make users entering by the advanced search page (rather than OPAC home page).

This page cannot offers the carousel because it doesn't have a space for html code.

It would be useful for these libraries to display theirs new items.

Thanks,

Alexandre

I think the solution for this is probably to add a customizable region to the advanced search page, rather than tailor a solution specifically to a carousel.
Comment 2 Alexandre 2019-05-23 14:28:10 UTC
Yes, this enhancement could also give the possibility to put other tools on advanced search page.

Koha cannot offers any possibility to add some tool there because there is no preference system to let staff modify the display of this page.

It would be useful to add a pref system something like OPACMainUserBlock for the advanced search page.

Thanks,

Alexandre
