Description Ian Gordon 2019-07-17 10:29:23 UTC
I am trying to upgrade koha using the debian package koha-common 18.05.14-1 package on Ubuntu 18.04.

I get the following error:

The following packages have unmet dependencies.
koha-common : Depends: libperl5.24 but it is not installable
Depends: perl-modules-5.24 but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Ubuntu Bionic uses libperl5.26. The previous version of the package koha-common 18.05.13-1 did not have this dependency on libperl5.24 (I also note that the current 19.05.01-1 package does NOT have a dependency on libperl5.24 and therefore installs fine)

Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Thanks,

Ian Gordon.

Hi Ian, if you haven't figured out a solution yet I'd suggest asking on the mailing list - many more people reading there and it might give this some more attention.

No more replies and 18.05 is no longer maintained - setting this to INVALID for now.
