We would also like to see this in instances where the barcode is listed to pull, on either item-level holds or where the branch has a single copy. It will also help us identify potentially missing or miss-shelved items, and (right now in 2021-Land) identify if an item is currently in quarantine. We would also like to see this feature in holds queue as it would help us to work out if an item is newer stock or not when looking for it - as could be on displays or recently returned. It would also help with potentially missing/lost stock not identified as missing as if last seen date is long ago and not easily found on shelves we can mark as missing with high likelihood that it is missing. +1 would be very helpful to identify both long-missing items and recently returned ones. If the holds queue table shows an item-level hold the barcode column contains the specific barcode to be pulled. If the hold is not item level, the barcode listed may be one of many which are available. If the date last seen is shown in a separate column I'm concerned that it will be unclear that the date refers only to the barcode listed. Maybe I'm being pedantic and it doesn't really matter? |
