If we're talking about the linking function within editing a bib record, how about something like a pull-down menu similar to what we have in other areas, e.g., you activate the authority linking function (i.e., by keying ctrl-shift-L in the advanced bib editor), it executes the search, and next to each term is a button labeled "Actions" and when you select that button, it turns into a menu (similar to when importing a record via Z39.50, or when searching the Aut file in the staff client) with actions like: Choose View Edit And if you choose "View" of that heading, a window pops up that could have the 4XX & 5XX terms hyperlinked to execute a new search within this aut finder/linker. Is that something like what you're envisioning? Cheerio! h2 |
