Description Estel Porras 2020-06-01 22:00:25 UTC
I find that the catalog system for both Willows and Orland has changed in that when I ask for an author like Miller, Derek B., what comes up are not books by that author, but books galore by authors with Derek or Miller in their own names, or books that have America or Day in the title.
We had this problem previously, but it was fixed. Can you tell me what's going on? Why is this problem back?
Thank you. I look forward to a timely reply.

Hi Estel,

this looks more like a support request, so it would be much better suited for your support provider or the general mailing list (https://koha-community.org/support/koha-mailing-lists/). One thing you could try is making sure that you have not turned on QueryAutoTruncate as this created problem with the relevance ranking. In general I'd check for changes with your searching system preferences.

If you mail the mailing list, please make sure to include your Koha version and if this occured after an update or after any changes were made etc.
