Description Kelly McElligott 2020-09-02 15:23:03 UTC
Currently Koha can notify patrons of their upcoming expiration date for their library card. At this time, only a staff member can renew a patron's account.
And although a lot of libraries would like to have this fall on the library's responsibility, some libraries would like to have patrons be able to renew their account themselves.

Could there be a way for patrons to renew their account on the OPAC - once they receive the email from Koha, a notification could appear on the Patron's summary (like it does in the staff client) to renew?

If a patron can renew on the OPAC (sys pref would be nice), then a renewal happens and the staff client is updated with an Approval/Denying process.
