You can use the marc21_lining_section.pl cataloguing plugin on any 7xx field (we usually have $a) to help with linking records - it will populates a lot of the fields and could probably easily be improved to do more. It works similar as the authority linker ... click, search, choose... populate. Thanks, Katrin, I hadn't played with marc21_linking_section.pl! It doesn't quite do what analytical cataloging needs, but it's a start!
