This would be a nice addition to Koha We now have middle name as an additional field, does that help any with that? Example: Juan Carlos Rodriguez Gonzalez III If the suffix is added to the middle name, then notices would read Juan Carlos III Rodriguez Gonzalez. We also have the issue of non-standardized data, which could be fixed with a populated, drop-down menu. This would be useful for II vs. 2nd vs. Jr. or 3rd vs. III, depending on what the system's needs were. I agree, this would be very helpful especially when a child has the same name as the parent and Jr. or Sr. are the quickest way to differentiate between the two accounts. We're new to Koha and I was just searching our settings to see if this was turned off, but it looks like I've found my answer here, it's not an option. :( I would vote on this but I'm not seeing a way to do so. Bugzilla is still new to me, so maybe I'm missing something. |
