That's what I was thinking when reading bug 31004. I mean the SMS is just another API anyway. (On a side note, does Koha already support web push notifications? I don't love web push notifications in general but why not add all the things...) As this just has come up in a meeting and there are countries where email "isn't checked anymore" - has anyone looked into adding support for one or another messenger?
