Attachments: A partial list of the system preference menus with incorrect text

Description Elaine Bradtke 2022-12-20 18:04:04 UTC
Created attachment 144743 [details]
A partial list of the system preference menus with incorrect text

Also in 22.11. This applies to English United Kingdom (en-GB) I don't know if it applies to other translations.
Many, but not all of the system preferences are displaying incorrect menu items. For instance in the pulldown menu for UsageStatsCountry the list is almost entirely 'religious organization'. If I switch the system to English (en). Everything displays as expected.
The OPAC and staff interface seem to be unaffected.
I have attached a partial list of the menus.

Hi Elaine, I haven't seen this happening for us. Did you do any update since and did the problem remain? To check the correct po files, which was the exact version you saw/see this in? (to the third number).

It was nearly a year ago and we try to keep up with the latest updates, so I can't give more specific version info. After reporting the problem, I switched us to the default version of English because it was such a mess. Now, on 23.05.04 British English seems to be working just fine.

Thanks for the feedback! It looks like this was fixed and might have been a problem in a specific version only.
