Hi Esther, I think this is a duplicate: Bug 33268 - Overlay rules don't work correctly when source is set to * Try using z3950 or any other specific source instead of * as a workaround. Also note that you need to check the record after saving (the display in the editor is not the end result). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 33268 *** |
Created attachment 152261 [details] Pre and post overlay item types To reproduce: 1. Have multiple item types 2. Create an overlay rule: Module = source Filter = * Tag = 942 Preset = Protect Added, Append, Removed, Deleted = Skip 3. Find a record and edit in the Advanced Editor 4. Select Import in the Advanced Editor, find a record and import it. 5. See that the item type is not retained properly. I tested the same overlay rule for the same record using z39.50 and stage marc records for import and both worked as it should.
