+1 The ability to store patron's electronic signatures in their account would be very useful to us! I'm wary of this one. At least in Australia a person's signature is personal information (https://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/your-privacy-rights/your-personal-information/what-is-personal-information), and it's important to only collect personal information that is necessary for the organisation's functions/activities. In this case, what would be the purpose for collecting and storing this information? Would it be to prove that they've signed a membership agreement? There now is a way to attach files to a patron card, maybe this could handle this usecase, use another software to handle the electronic signature and store a PDF or image file in Koha? |
