This is also not working in basic editor. Recreate using Esther's plan above with the basic editor. Can you check if you might have had 2 different rules for 500 defined? Also your exact version? Bug 30966 And then there is: Bug 33268 Sorry for creating confusion. My comment is not relevant. I found and am commenting on the actual bug 34191 With all those very similar bugs I believe it just shows there is an urgent need for some clean-up! This is most definitely a pressing issue. It takes away a key tool in any cataloger's toolbox. Let's make this a priority. (In reply to Phillip Berg from comment #5) > This is most definitely a pressing issue. I tried setting up a rule using Z39.50 as the source. It didn't work for our specific circumstance. For context, we need to retain the 942$c tag when overlaying a record in the Advanced Editor, when specifically using the Substitute function. When using the Replace Record thru Z39.50 option the 942$c is retained in the Advanced Editor. We set up some rules earlier in our Koha migration to try to address this, but it caused problems retaining the 942$c when toggling between the Basic and Advanced Editor, which we also need to do. It's an important issue for me because I use Advanced Editor almost exclusively, and the Substitute function works best for me in my workflow. |
