Description Chris Cormack 2010-05-21 01:10:31 UTC

---- Reported by oleonard@myacpl.org 2009-07-23 16:34:59 ----

I recall that "recentacquiloop" used to be available to opac-main.tmpl if Koha was configured to show recent acquisitions. However, there is no longer any reference to "recentacquiloop" anywhere in the Koha code.

Patch pushed to HEAD. As a note to anybody wondering if it's still possible to put a list of recent acquisitions on your OPAC's home page, the answer is yes, but the mechanism is different. One way to do it is to use ./misc/cronjobs/rss/rss.pl to create an RSS field of recent purchases, then embed the results of that feed in the page. This may be a good topic for a blog post, Owen.
