I agree with Caroline. The difference in behaviour between the batch modification tools can lead to confusion for librarians, as it creates mismatched expectations. For example, when using the batch record modification tool, Koha currently provides two links: "View Details of Enqueued Job" and "New Batch Record Modification" on the batch_record_modification.pl page. However, there’s no clear confirmation of what has been edited, which can sometimes lead users to unintentionally re-modify the same records. Directing users to the 'job details' page would significantly enhance usability by allowing them to immediately review any errors or issues with the modifications. This small change could make the tool more efficient, user-friendly, and reduce unnecessary clicks. |
