It appears that this issue also applies when item search results are exported to a CSV file. Sorted order is not preserved in the exported file. We would love to see sort order preserved in .csv files! One of our top uses of the Item Search will likely be shelflists for various uses that will be exported out and used as spreadsheets. It's important for these to be in LC Classification call number order to be usable. However, currently the file reverts back to the original order and we must re-sort once in Excel, which cannot figure out LCC filing. It would be really great to preserve the sort order. |
