Suggestion from @xAD@mastodon.social:

"Any chance of a feature where you can have a live, updating .ics file for a calendar so you can see when books are due back for? Would like to be able to check my calendar and see that I've got a book that needs renewing/returning in a few days, rather than having to login to the library system and check every time!"

You can download an .ics file from the list of your checkouts in the OPAC. It's labelled "iCal" in the toolbar above the table of checkouts.

I think what the user meant was maybe a bit more automatic, but I am not sure this could work, because it would need to be secure and authenticated.

Some more information from Mastodon:

"...My thinking is along the lines of a public calendar from Google or Apple, right? Where you subscribe to a calendar URL which is public to anybody with the URL and updates automatically, maybe once a day? I don't know if there is any authentication on those types of links but the end user would have to be informed that sharing the link would give someone access to your checkouts and return dates."
