Attachments: | Claims button rendered with CSS. |
One of my staff drew my attention to the Patron Details page and the fineholdsissues toptabs bar this morning, post-upgrade. Still holding on to my memories of being a 20-something male in the USA, I quickly identified an old emoticon that I felt might be identified by some as sexist. The fourth tab over is Claims, with a pair of numbers in parentheses. By default, if a patron has no claims and none outstanding, the tab renders as "(0 0)", which most males, teen or older, will tell you is an emoticon for female breasts. I think that if we added a slash (/) between the numbers, and/or removed the parentheses, it would diffuse the pareidolia, while retaining the meaning. |
Created attachment 177555 [details] Claims button rendered with CSS. One of my staff drew my attention to the Patron Details page and the fineholdsissues toptabs bar this morning, post-24.11-upgrade. The CSS highlights the zeroes even more than text here renders. I think that if we added a slash (/) between the numbers, and/or removed the parentheses, it would diffuse the pareidolia, while retaining the meaning. Thanks for your consideration.
