I'd add that it would be great if each cataloger could have his/her own settings for cataloging - their own favorite Z targets to search and other such cataloging customizations. Would it help to have the checked setting depend on the homebranch of the staff user as a first step? We are in a consortium and several individuals have OCLC accounts. It would be great if our login could be associated by default with a specific Z39.50 configuration. We are in a consortium and several individuals have OCLC accounts. It would be great if our login could be associated by default with a specific Z39.50 configuration. *** Bug 24039 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** +1 Great idea Black Gold is a 6 library consortium and our libraries are asking to be able to choose their Z39.50 search targets by the library, rather than the global setting. Thank you. Tvandoren@blackgold.org We have one library that has a personal OCLC subscription and we would like to be able to only show the z39.50 target to just them. We currently have labeled it "TESTING - DO NOT USE" hoping that would deter other staff from using it (spoiler: it hasn't!) |
