This happens in cataloging and in acquisitions when doing a Z search, but only on some records and so it's hard to pin point what's doing it. If you click the 'Card' view on your MARC results you get this error: :109: parser error : PCDATA invalid Char value 27 heir friends band together to fight the greatest evil they have ever faced: Cary ^ :109: parser error : PCDATA invalid Char value 27 r friends band together to fight the greatest evil they have ever faced: Caryb2 ^ Here's a video of no errors: http://screencast.com/t/KeXcqNVKu Here's a video of the error: http://screencast.com/t/OymaBNN0naI Both times we're searching the same target, but clicking 'card' on different results.
Can you download the record which triggers the error? If you import the record into Koha does it work? If so, is there any visible problem with the imported data?

I'm thinking there is something either something malformed in the data, or a condition in the record that Koha isn't prepared to handle. Christopher
The screencast links no longer work - can you upload a broken record maybe?
We don't have enough information here to be able to replicate the problem if it still exists. Please reopen if you still experience the issue.
