Description Nicole C. Engard 2014-06-10 20:34:47 UTC
This happens in cataloging and in acquisitions when doing a Z search, but only on some records and so it's hard to pin point what's doing it. If you click the 'Card' view on your MARC results you get this error:

:109: parser error : PCDATA invalid Char value 27

                                                                                ^

Both times we're searching the same target, but clicking 'card' on different results.

Can you download the record which triggers the error? If you import the record into Koha does it work? If so, is there any visible problem with the imported data?

Yes, we can download it. The record works, but the card still can't be viewed after it is imported.

I'm thinking there is something either something malformed in the data, or a condition in the record that Koha isn't prepared to handle.

The screencast links no longer work - can you upload a broken record maybe?

We don't have enough information here to be able to replicate the problem if it still exists. Please reopen if you still experience the issue.
