Description Donna 2018-05-31 14:14:53 UTC
A consortium would like patrons to see, through the OPAC, the holds queue for only their home library.

When a patron, or staff member, places a hold on an item it can be misleading. For popular books, say the newest James Patterson, when the hold is placed it will say that the patron is 39th in line, or some ridiculous amount. In truth they may only be number 3 or 4 inline as the rest of the holds are from other libraries, and these books only circulate within the home location. The staff know how to figure this out, but the patrons struggle.

For a consortium, we would like to be able to limit the number of holds seen by the patron to only those at their branch, for items that only circulate within that branch.
