---- Reported by nengard@gmail.com 2008-05-16 03:37:04 ---- We cannot move fields around (only subfields) I may want one 650 higher than another and I can't change that * GMC: noted - file a Koha enhancement ---- Additional Comments From kohabugs@agogme.com 2008-06-02 03:13:19 ---- The cataloguer should be able to arrange fields in an arbitrary non-nueric sequence such that MARC 21 field 651 might be placed before 650. Field order is used for various necessary purposes. In the case of subjects, order along with the appropriate indicators specifies which subjects are priary, secondary, etc. --- Bug imported by chris@bigballofwax.co.nz 2010-05-21 00:46 UTC --- This bug was previously known as _bug_ 2124 at http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=2124 Actual time not defined. Does this issue get resolved with the new professional cataloger's interface?
I think it(In reply to J Schmidt from comment #2) > Does this issue get resolved with the new professional cataloger's interface? Yes, it's possible to change the sequence of fields - I just cataloged 650 648 for testing. But be aware that the new cataloguing interface doesn't support authority linking yet.
