Description Kelly McElligott 2019-02-27 18:21:32 UTC
When setting up a 2x a week serial, the frequency of 2x a week does not allow for correct Unit/Issues set up.

Setting up a 2x a week frequency,
1. Unit = Week
2 Issues per Unit = 2
3. Units per Issue =.5

However, Koha does not accept a value of less than 1. Due to this, the frequency cannot be used as it is intended, Koha will predict the wrong frequency.

I think this is a misunderstanding, one of the columns issuerperunit, or unitsperissue must always be 1.

The value of 1 here implies that the other value is the control i.e. if 'Issues per unit' = 1 then we determine frequency based on 'Units per issue' and vice versa.

To set up 2/week you would enter:
Unit: weeks
Issues per unit: 2
Units per issues: 1 (meaning ignore)

It seems to work correctly in my testing, can you add a screenshot of the issue if I am missing something?

The issue here is a serial published on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

There is no way to indicate that issues are expected on specific days of the week.

Would also be helpful for a serial published every other Thursday or similar
