Description Donna 2021-03-08 19:53:13 UTC
Prior to 20.05 when an order was cancelled from the basket, the item created when the order was placed was deleted also. In 20.05, users now get the message: An error has occurred.
The order has been cancelled, although one or more items could not have been deleted.

To recreate:
1. Add biblio and item to basket
2. Cancel the order and delete the biblio
3. Get the error message
4. Verify that the Holdings table still shows the item, but the acq correctly shows the cancellation.

Can you tell if this happens since the update exactly?
Does deleting items from other areas still work correctly?
Please also check the system information tab on the About page for any messages there!

I don't recreate the issue. Can you try on a sandbox and detail a bit more the different steps please?

> 2. Cancel the order and delete the biblio

Does it mean you click the "Cancel order and delete catalog record" link?
Comment 4 Jonathan Druart 2021-03-11 13:57:23 UTC
Was there a hold placed on the item or biblio?
Comment 5 Katrin Fischer 2022-11-16 23:35:42 UTC
There has been no feedback on the questions asked for over a year. I am closing this WORKSFORME.
