When you do a catalog search, the breadcrumbs retain the information you search for. But with the new patron search, it does not. It would be handy to retain this information. We have use for this information. It does show what you searched for if no results are returned, but if you get any results, the page doesn't show anything. If it is at least in the breadcrumbs, this would be helpful and consistent with other types of searches.
Created attachment 134496 [details] Screenshot of patron search with search criteria shown Are you referring to the main patron search page? The breadcrumbs are not updated, but the heading shows the search criteria and the form retains your choices.
Created attachment 134561 [details] No search criteria on circulation.pl No, when searching from Check Out (circulation.pl) doesn't show what you searched. It would be nice if search criteria was displayed the same way consistently for patrons or items. But I guess if it is showing the criteria on member.pl, circulation.pl should at least display it the same way.
This should not be the case in 21.11 because of Bug 15812: Use patron search in place of circ search.
(In reply to Owen Leonard from comment #3) > This should not be the case in 21.11 because of Bug 15812: Use patron search > in place of circ search. That is correct, I just tested and it now uses the normal patron search that shows what was searched for on top.
