How to reproduce: 1. enable system preference: SavedSearchFilters 2. Create a search filter, e.g. search for rtype:a and save this filter with visibility in opac and staff interface. 3. OPAC: do a simple search in the catalog for a word with at least one umlaut, e.g. münchen 4. Filter the search results by using the saved search filter. --> No results found 5. Notice that the search term in the search box is now münchen instead of münchen Same behavior in Staff interface: "No results match your search for 'kw,wrdl: "münchen"' with limit(s): 'and (rtype=a)'. " if you don't have titles in your catalog with umlauts you can download them from the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS via Z39.50, e.g. ISBN: 9783777442051 ( 200 Jahre Akademie der Bildenden Künste München ) ISBN: 3361003938 ( Das 19. Jahrhundert in München ) ISBN: 3765420271 ( 175 Jahre Oktoberfest 1810-1985 )
