Description Jessie Zairo 2024-01-09 22:14:41 UTC
With the availability for item-groups and item group holds it make it very easy for patrons to place a hold on a group of items. This enhancement would provide an option to place multiple item-group holds for the same record.

An example use case could be a patron wants to place a hold on volume 4, 5, and 6. Current behavior requires the user to place a hold for vol 4, then place another for vol 5, then finally place a hold for vol 6.

I don't think I understand the item-group functionality yet, but curious if the desire to place a hold on volume 4, 5, 6 would be the same as bug 15565

Actually, after reading through your Monday Minutes on item groups... it looks like the same kind of idea but for multiple item groups and not multiple items. Got it...

Exactly, David. Very similar to 15565 if I was placing a hold for single items. In this case, just for item groups.
