In MARC 21, fields 310, 321 and 362 show useful information for users. Field 310 shows periodicity; 321, former periodicity, and 362, Dates of Publication and/or Sequential Designation. If would be useful for libraries with serial publications to show these data to users.
This is also a feature my Library would like Adding these fields to the default xslt files would be helpful
How would you want this information to display?
For a 362 field, the label should read "Publication volumes:" or "Publication dates:" and then the content of the 362 $a field. I don't see a need to differentiate labels or other info based on the 0 or 1 indicator. For the 310 and 321 fields, both the $a and $b subfields should display if in the records. The labels for these would read "Current frequency" and "Former frequency" respectively. For the Details screen, my preference would be to have the 362 display in the results screen after the 300 and then followed by the 310 and 321. 300 362 310 321 I think the 362 alone in a Results screen would be fine.
