Description Aleisha Amohia 2024-02-21 22:02:05 UTC
The sort order for authority search results in the OPAC appears to be random, not accurately sorting by heading ascending or descending
Comment 1 Owen Leonard 2024-02-26 14:53:47 UTC
In my test the search is returning results alphabetically. Using Zebra. I only have name authorities in my test system if that makes a difference.
Comment 2 Pablo López Liotti 2025-04-15 14:29:38 UTC
Hi, working on Koha 22.11.16 shows the same error. The sort order for authority search results in the OPAC appears to be random from page 50 forwards.
It´s solved in major version of Koha?
Thks

I believe this is expected with Zebra for a search result of a certain size. Page 50 is quite a lot.

Aleisha was your sorting problem seen on a page far into the results like page 50, as in comment 2? And was it using Zebra?

Oh dear I can't really remember, though I imagine it was noticed much sooner than the 50th result page. And yes it was Zebra.
