Description Lucas Gass (lukeg) 2025-05-01 20:48:36 UTC
Prior to Bug 37398 if you had the date accessioned plugin setup on a date field 3 small dots displayed to the right of the input. If you clicked on these I would replace the date in that field with today's date. Some librarians would like to see that functionality restored.

+1 - We definitely would like to see this restored!
Comment 2 Katrin Fischer 2025-05-27 18:50:27 UTC
If you leave the field empty, it will automatically save with today's date (not saying we should not make it more obvious, but that might help)

This, and also if you click on the empty field it will populate with today's date. Because of these 2 things I'm included to resolved this one as WONT FIX.

Since this functionality does exist I am marking this resolved.
