no routing list
I did a search as Jared said and do not see the routing list option here.
Hi Nicole, I don't think it's a bug - it's a feature. Can you check that your user has permission routing and your RoutingSerials system preference is turned on? That should make the column show up. I'm a superlibrarian on both systems ... And your system preference is turned on? Okay, there is a new preference for that that I did not know about - on upgrade it should not be set to OFF since before upgrading it was just a feature you had access to. Also you shouldn't be able to choose routing list as a notification when setting up a serial if you have the preference set to OFF - makes it very confusing to people who have been using the system for ages. Hi Nicole, the system preference itself is very old, but as far as I can tell it used to only work on serials-home, that is the result table when searching for a serial. I wrote a patch to make permissions and system preference check consistent on all other pages too: http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=koha.git;a=commit;h=88a2079a48867680af02eb92007eae4c95fe1fb0 I am not sure how we can make people less confused here - updating an existing system preference that used to work at least partially to another setting seems not right to me. The routing list notification you choose when adding a subscription is a misnamed sample notice. It is not related to the management of routing lists at all - it is necessary for sending out serial alerts for new issues. Without selecting a notification template, the link for subscribing to the serial alerts will not show up in OPAC. The notifications will also only be sent out to alert subscribers, not to users on the routling list. Okay, I don't have any solutions either, it was pretty confusing for a while there. |
