Description Victor Pang 2013-08-19 11:58:27 UTC
MySQL version 5.6.5 and above will now produce a warning message "Warning: Using a password on the command line interface can be insecure." when a MySQL user password is used or prompted from the command line. As such, when the Web Installer is importing .sql files to populate the structures and tables into the Koha database, one will get this warning message for every import.

In fact, when the Web Installer is importing the database table structures, it will finish but will not let one to continue importing the basic default settings. However, it is easy to rectify - just run the Web Installer again.

The webinstaller is not using the mysql command line client.
