in unimarc advanced searcg on opac and staff interface, the string "Print" is ambiguous, as "Print" could be translated in french by "Imprimer" (verb) or "Impression" (noun), and is used elsewhere in templates in the "verb" meaning. We could be used instead of "Print" the official label for 106 field ("Form of item") or maybe "Type of print" M. Saby
Created attachment 22670 [details] [review] Bug 11189 : Rename Print label in UNIMARC advanced search "Print" label for search on 106 field is not correct in UNIMARC advanced search : - 106 field can be used for non printed ressources (manuscript...) - "Print" is ambiguous for translation tool, as it can be understood as a verb or a noun. The official label for 106 field is "Type of form". The offical label for 106$a subfield is "Medium designator". I think "Physical presentation" is the best way to describe the content of 106$a in a user understandable label. Test plan : Check the "Print" label is replaced with "Physical presentation" in OPAC and Staff Advanced Search
> We could be used instead of "Print" the official label for 106 field ("Form > of item") or maybe "Type of print" +1 Could you propose a patch with subtypes_unimarc.inc modified also for Bootstrap theme?

Make sense for UNIMARC users.

QA comment: String patch. Will be for 3.16 Marked as Passed QA.
Pushed to master for inclusion in 3.16. Thanks, Mathieu! I've got to say that I quibble with using "Physical presentation" when one of the options under that label is "electronic resource", but I agree that it's better than "Print".

Not easy to find the best name for that field. We could change it later. Anyway, only a few very curious patrons use this "advanced advanced search"... Mathieu
This patch has been pushed to 3.12.x, will be in 3.12.8. Thanks Mathieu!
