Description Christopher Brannon 2014-03-06 21:53:20 UTC
The search.pl page only shows the name of the category for a status, such as DAMAGED or LOST, rather than the specific status used from those categories. You see the true status of these items in the detail.pl page, but it would be preferable to see the same status EVERYWHERE, or at least have the option to see it the same everywhere.

Would still like to get accurate statuses in the search.pl page.
Comment 2 Christopher Brannon 2016-10-05 14:50:43 UTC
Still hoping someone will address this issue.

A specific example: an item in transit for a hold shows as available on the search.pl screen. Since the item is on its way to fulfill a hold, it should either be in the unavailable list, or in an in transit list. It really is not available, but because it isn't checked out, it defaults to the available list. At the very least, this item should default to unavailable. If the item is just in transit to its home library, and there is no hold, it would make sense if it is in the available list at that point.

search.pl does now show the individual status descriptions for damaged and lost, so this resolves the initial description and comment#1.

Items in transit show as unavailable, which fixes comment#2:
