Description Tom Misilo 2015-04-20 13:45:30 UTC
Like LDAP, CAS has attributes that can be released from the CAS Server, I read through the documentation, but the only thing I can find is setting the CAS Logout and Server URL settings, but no where to specify a mapping of attributes.

If it exists, can the documentation be updated to show where to set it, if it doesn't exist, can this be a possible feature added in the future?

Hi Tom, Koha currently doesn't support attribute mapping for CAS. What would you like to do in Koha with those?

Hi Katrin,

I guess I would want it to work similar to the LDAP attribute mapping where you can specify the mapping.

I couldn't find it in the manual though it may be there. This page http://bywatersolutions.com/2012/07/09/koha-ldap/ talks about the mapping of different attributes for LDAP, and the same could be done for LDAP.

We currently utilize LDAP for authentication and overwrite all of our attributes nightly with updates from another department, so we wouldn't need this anymore. It can stay if you think it would be a good feature to incorporate.

Thanks!
